HACK THE PLANET!

If this phrase doesn’t mean anything to you, you probably won’t understand what this is all about, but read on anyway.

I came across this awesome idea for a party centered around the 15th anniversary of the movie “Hackers“, a fantastically ridiculous movie about hackers that came out in 1995 revolving around a “cyber-punk” youth culture which made hacking its main pastime.  While most of the plot in the movie is bullshit, it actually did have some parts to it that were close to reality, and that made it totally believable to the 11-year-old that I was when I saw it.

So I’m very happy to announce that I’ve officially become a backer of the project on Kickstarter and am about to e-mail Fred who is in charge of the project to see if Dijital Fix can somehow assist in making sure this happens, either through sponsorship or helping get the word out.  If we become a sponsor, you’ll know about it, and will probably result in perks for Dijital Fix followers.
