We’re all familiar with the revealing and controversial photography of Diane Arbus, and maybe to a lesser extent, her camera of choice, a Rolleiflex Twin-Lens Reflex (TLR) medium format camera. Well here’s your chance to take some equally inspiring photos with the new Lubitel+. After spending a little over a week with this camera when we first got it in (I took it on my trip to San Francisco in early January), I can say with no hesitation that this is the most solid camera I’ve seen yet from Lomography. It feels like the original (which they have on display in their new store), only better, with an added flash hot-shoe, full-view glass viewfinder, endless panorama format, closer focus (.8m instead of 1.4m), a 35mm film adapter kit, zone focusing (like the LC-A+) and handy on-camera exposure guides. I have yet to get my rolls processed but will post them up here as soon as I do. In the meantime, come and check it out in the store…we have one on display.
