The TMA-1 is the newest headphones from AiAiAi based out of Copenhagen, Denmark. We've stocked their headphones since just about day one, and never before have we been this excited for a headphone release. The TMA-1 name comes from a reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey; The TMA-1 (Tyco-Magnetic Anomaly) was the black monolith discovered on the moon by the apes in pre-historic times. Like its namesake, the TMA-1 Headphones are matte black and indestructible. The one-piece TMA-1 headband consists of a strong, durable and flexible nylon material, which provides full flexibility when wearing and positioning the headphones during DJing. Two different cushions types (faux-leather and foam, included) can be changed easily with the click release function, so the headphones fit all situations – from a noisy club environment to on the road. The speaker is protected by the cushion plate with an integrated filter and provides the richest sound that is available today, along with the most durable driver technology. Finally, there is a 3mm cotton fiber filter for isolation and the headphone cup out of a resistant ABS material to protect the fragile parts. The 1.7 meter cable has a mini jack connection in both ends, as well as a reinforced plug with a 1/8 adapter option. It has a 0.4 meter coil on the wire, which gives extra length and flexibility.

The iron lungs of the TMA-1 use advanced driver materials; from the voice coil, to the yoke, to the magnet and to the speaker diaphragm. These thoroughly tested materials ensure the richest sound available today, based on the most durable driver technology. This makes the TMA-1 achieve the impeccable sound design, which is, of course, further cultivated by the team of test DJs and sound technicians Aiaiai employed in the research and development of these headphones. The TMA-1 design also takes the different situations in which headphones are used into account - from the hectic, noisy club environment, to long studio sessions or just being out and about in the city.
